About Shravya

Behind every successful transaction is a great team working together. My role is to make sure the financial side of every matter is handled accurately, efficiently, and with the same level of care our clients expect from Brooks Business Law.

I bring more than fifteen years of experience across accounting, finance, technology, and project management. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles, but I ultimately found my way back to finance because it’s where I feel most fulfilled.

Today, I oversee the firm’s accounting and financial operations, helping ensure transactions are completed accurately, funds move efficiently, and our lawyers and clients have the support they need throughout the process.

Although much of my work happens behind the scenes, I know how important it is. Every payment, reconciliation, trust transaction, and financial detail contributes to delivering the exceptional experience our clients expect from Brooks Business Law.

How I Help Our Clients

I support our lawyers and clients by managing many of the financial aspects of their legal matters, including:

• Invoice management
• Financial reconciliations
• Real estate transaction accounting

• Financial administration and reporting

My goal is to ensure every financial detail is managed with accuracy, efficiency, and care so our clients can move forward with confidence.

My Approach

I enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and finding better ways to help our team work efficiently.

One of the things I value most about my role is knowing that while clients may not always see the work happening behind the scenes, they experience the benefits of it through smooth transactions, responsive service, and confidence that every detail has been carefully managed.

I believe accuracy and efficiency are important, but so are communication, teamwork, and supporting the people around you. That’s what allows us to consistently deliver an exceptional client experience.

My Journey

Moving to Canada from India and rebuilding my career is one of the accomplishments I’m most proud of.

After raising my family, I completed a Master’s degree, re-established my professional career, and returned to finance, a field I’ve always been passionate about. That journey reinforced the importance of resilience, continuous learning, and embracing new opportunities.

I’ve never believed in standing still. I’m always looking for ways to grow personally and professionally, and I enjoy bringing that same mindset to my work every day.

Beyond the Office

Outside of work, my happy place is the kitchen. I love cooking and experimenting with flavours from different cuisines, and I enjoy bringing people together through food.

I also appreciate the balance I’ve found at Brooks Business Law. One of the reasons I joined the firm was because I wanted to be part of a team where my work mattered, where people genuinely supported one another, and where I could continue growing professionally while maintaining balance in my life.

I’m grateful to have found exactly that.

A Final Thought

Whether I’m coordinating a wire transfer, managing trust funds, or supporting one of our lawyers behind the scenes, my goal is always the same: to make sure every client feels confident knowing the details are being handled carefully, accurately, and professionally.
